Dassai is one of the well-known sake in the world. It is very popular and famous in USA, too. Not only a lot of Japanese restaurants but also many non-Japanese restaurants have this sake.

獺祭は世界で最も知られている日本酒の一つです。勿論、アメリカでも人気があり有名です。日本食レストランはもちろん、たくさんの日本食以外のレストランも扱っている所が多いです。

For me, it’s a little bit sweet, but it is very easy to drink, smooth, elegant and delicious. It also has hints of pear and muscat.

自分には少し甘めですが、とても飲みやすく、さっぱりしていて、上品で美味しい日本酒です。ほんの少し梨やマスカットの余韻もあります。

This sake can go well with any type of food so it’s very versatile. I think that’s one of the reason why it is popular internationally. However it is a little bit pricy in USA, but it’s a great sake so it is worth a try. Cheers!!!

この日本酒はどんな食事にもよく合い、何にでも合わせやすいです。おそらく, それが世界中でよく飲まれている理由の１つだと思います。アメリカで買うと、少し値段が高いですが、飲む価値のある日本酒です。乾杯！！！
